Somehow gained 10kg in 2 months?

peanutaggressive7631Aug 5, 8:57 AM

im in my early 20s. usually I was the type to never gain weight (uni student lives alone u can tell how frugal I must be). I used to weigh 66-69kg, barely ever hitting the 70. I thought my metabolism was super strong I could never gain weight. I’m 6’0 btw but I’m now 78kg. In the last 2-3 months I guess I’ve been eating way too many unhealthy snacks and outside food, and I tried going gym but things came up. trying to go gym now to lose the weight on my tummy, I want to ask if this is normal and if cutting down the sugar and just doing exercise/gym will make me lose the fat

The "freshman 15" is a thing...lots going on in life for you right now. Lock in good habits and carry them for life. Right. Fucking. Now! Learn to make good food at home, manage your alcohol and sugar consumption, and make time to sleep and workout. Your parents and friends aren't going to hold you accountable anymore, it's on you.

You don't exercise and eat like a little kid and you got fat? Huh weird

Fix your eating habits now before you wake up at 36 and realise it’s much much harder.

Cut out the “way too many unhealthy snacks” and you’ll be fine. Weight loss is as simple as calories in vs calories out. Unhealthy snacks can often have as many calories as an entire meal so if you’re eating more of these, it’s like your have a few breakfasts, a few lunches and a few teas.

If you’re a girl, take a pregnancy test just in case

Sudden weight gain if you have the same habits since a long time should be consulted with a doctor.

Gym is great for health but weight loss happens in the kitchen. Cut the snacks first, track your calories for a week, you'll see where the 10kg came from.
