Setline is a training app with catalog plates. Most of it works without an account — this page says what data exists, where it lives, and what you can do about it.

01

What this covers

Setline writes one training session from three answers and lines it up with catalog plates. It is a fitness tool, not a medical service: we do not collect health records, diagnoses, or data from wearables, and nothing you log is medical advice.

The short version: training signed out stays on your device. Signing in stores the minimum needed to sync your plan and run Pro. Payments stay with PayPal or Stripe. We do not sell data.

02

Training without an account

The quiz, the player, and the daily session all work signed out. In that case your quiz answers, weekly plan, meal choices, and workout logs live in your browser, on this device only.

We cannot see that data, sync it, or restore it. If you clear your browser's site data, it is gone for good — that is the trade you make for training with no account at all.

03

What an account stores

If you sign in, we store your email address and the training linked to it, so the same plan can open on another device:

  • Quiz answers: gear, style, goal, focus areas, and minutes.
  • Weekly plans, the sessions you finish, and workout totals.
  • Meal choices, plates you mark, and grocery checks.
  • For Pro: your weight log, so Progress can show it move.

Sign-in runs through a magic link sent to your email. There is no password for Setline to store, leak, or ask you to reset.

04

Payments

Pro is billed through PayPal or Stripe, whichever you chose at checkout. Card and bank details, and the receipts themselves, stay with that provider — we never see your full card number.

What we store is the state of your subscription: the plan (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), whether it is trialing, active, or set to cancel, the trial and renewal dates, and the provider's subscription ID. Account reads from that record when it shows where you stand.

05

The Board

The Board is a public room. Posts, replies, and any photos you add are public, and they show your handle — never your email address.

Some Board replies are generated with a model. To write one, the public text of a post may be sent to a model provider. Nothing from your training, account, or payments is sent with it. Treat the Board as public: do not post anything private.

06

Email we send

We send the email the product needs to work: sign-in links, replies when you contact us, and — from PayPal or Stripe — billing receipts and trial notices. We do not send advertising email, and we do not sell or rent your address to anyone.

07

Analytics

If the site operator has turned on Google Analytics, your browser sends page views to Google so we can see which screens get used and which get ignored. It is optional, it is controlled by the operator, and training works the same with it off. Analytics is never tied to your workout data.

08

Cookies and local storage

Two ordinary mechanisms do all the work here. A session cookie keeps you signed in on this browser. Local storage holds the on-device training state described above. We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site advertising cookies.

09

Your choices and deletion

You can review most of what your account holds by signing in — Today, Progress, and Account show the same records we store.

To delete an account, cancel Pro first if it is active, then contact us from the account email. We delete the account record and its linked training data. Payment records that PayPal or Stripe must keep for their own obligations stay with them. Data that only ever lived on your device is deleted by clearing the browser's site data.

Changes and contact

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it, and the new text applies from then on. Questions about privacy: use Contact, or sign in and write from your account email so we can verify it is you.
